You Poor Christians

It is interesting how opposing positions are taken by Christians and unbelievers.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians have to go to church all the time. Christians say: You poor unbelievers miss the joy of going to church.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians can*t smoke or drink. Christians say: You poor unbelievers don*t understand the harm you do to yourselves when you smoke and drink.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians can*t curse. Christians say: You poor unbelievers keep God as your enemy by cursing.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians can*t have any fun. Christians say: I used to enjoy your kind of fun, but it isn*t nearly as much fun as God gives me since I became a Christian and will give me in heaven.

Unbelievers say: It is hard to be a Christian. Christians say: It is harder to be an unbeliever.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians are trapped. Christians say: You poor unbelievers are trapped.

Unbelievers say: I know better than you poor Christians. Christians say: I know better than unbelievers.

Unbelievers say: You Christians are poor. Christians say: I have untold wealth and blessings.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians got it bad. Christians say: I have it good.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians* God is a meany. Christians say: My God is kind and loves me.

Unbelievers say: You poor Christians are no better than I am. Christians say: Of course not, but God has forgiven me.

Unbelievers have only been on one side of these issues and have not been given access to all of the facts. Christians have been on both sides of these issues and have been given access to all of the facts.

If Christians were wrong about these things, they would do no harm to themselves or to anyone else. If unbelievers are wrong about these things, they will condemn themselves to eternal judgment.
